Creating an interactive annual report to inform and engage

Rather than another run of the mill annual report National Grid requested an interactive report using the capabilities of HTML 5. A design born from the required news of the year but with the ability for the user to quickly access the information they needed without the usual overwjelming amass of content.

With a large amount of data to group and prioritise the project was completed by utlising the information gleaned from stakeholders meetings to prioritise the surfaced content and where it sat within the larger context. The segments of a day were used as a metaphor to communicate the content most effectively.
