Orchestrating and creating a multi channel campaign for Sky Comedies
From project planning to storyboarding to multi channel execution
A storyboard for the actress Jane Horrocks to follow, supervising the photo and video shoot with Jane, and conceiving and creating an extensive multi channel digital and TV campaign to advertise British comedies.
Project plan
I was in charge of a team of eight, including one Art Director, designers and developers, including AS3 developers. It was a challenging project from inception. Once I established the scope of the project I recruited the appropriate external contractors utilizing in-house Sky staff too and I established the project pipeline. The project was launched successfully and was seen across a variety of channels including TV, print and online via rich media. The end result was very well received.
Ideation
Once the video and photoshoot had been completed and the post production finished I then went about conceiving of the many different ways the Rich Media would work. Seen here on the Yahoo Superwall page where all banners would work in conjunction with one another.
Ideation
With a dominating panel that emerges when the user interacts with one of the previous banners, seen on the previous page. There were many iterations of Rich Media, I ensured that while they all conveyed the same message they each had unique, interesting, dynamic interractions utilizing modern AS3.
Storyboard realised
An initial storyboard I created to show the essential message of a standard MPU which I then used as a basis to build on to create the more sophisticated rich media entities.
