Creating an SAAS solution to enable SME businesses to improve and thrive
Doing better than the competitors for an SAAS system
Being late to market but with a significant foothold in the space due to their telecommunications strengths the opportunity here was to create a system to rival Microsoft 365 in the Long run, but in the short term to provide services to SMEs.
An experience outmatching the rest
With SMEs IT departments are sometimes non existent and the need for an easier managed experience was the main USP for this product. The wireframes and designs therefore had to reflect this.
User journeys for Microsoft license holders, and those without
Pre existing appropriate personas existed already so it was now a matter of create a detailed user journey for the prospects with and without a Microsoft license.
Testing to validate the area the IA would sit
As a new product ambivalence existed as to where the product would exist within the estate of the Vodafone ecosystem. Tree testing was therefore the order of the day to determine where this would be.
Established feature set to formulate the project roadmap
It was then time to nail down the features set, so that a roadmap could be constructed to work on the project over the coming months.
Using existing components while boosting the experience
Constrained to a strict set of design system rules, what was established was utilising modern infographics, a chatbot and videos to bring the experience to life.
Seamless triage experience with accompanying chatbot
To set the user up with the product a triage experience that worked in conjunction with the chatbot, both features prioritised to be immediately responded to by an agent, with all progress saved to continue on in the future.
